The goal of my project is to explore a variety of armor and shell structures. An important element is the aestheticization of the sculptures, using technological elements to confuse the viewer and, in their abstractness, camouflage the lack of practical utility of the objects. I try to reflect the textures of the observed environment, focusing on their texture and layering, approaching them in a painterly way.
I am fascinated by the juxtaposition of the military connotation of armor with abstract automotive forms, and giving them an organic form that contrasts with the materials used. An important aspect of my project is to move away from the traditional perception of armor as human protection, creating structures that have only aesthetic and artistic uses.
The name of the series is a play on words and association, reflecting my fascination with the textures and forms of the objects I observe and use.
